In BYDFi's copy trading, users may occasionally encounter copy order failures. Below are the possible reasons that may cause copy trading failures, helping you better understand the potential risks in the process.

Reasons for Copy Trading Failures

  1. Trader has not opened positions for an extended period

If the followed trader has not opened any positions in the past 21 days, the system will automatically cancel your copy trading relationship.

2. Trader’s status revoked

If a trader’s status is revoked by the platform due to violations or other reasons, followers will no longer be able to copy their trades.

3. Trader removed the follower

Traders have the right to remove followers. Once removed, the follower will no longer be able to copy the trader’s orders.

4. Consecutive copy order failures

If copy order failures exceed 10 consecutive times, the system will automatically cancel the copy trading relationship.

5. Insufficient funds or no assets in the copy trading wallet

If a follower’s wallet lacks sufficient funds to cover new copy orders, the copy trade will fail.

6. Copy order failure (below minimum copy trading amount)

If the contract copy trading amount is below the minimum required, the order cannot be opened.

7. Copy order failure (exceeds maximum copy trading amount)

If the contract copy trading amount exceeds the maximum allowed, the order cannot be opened.

8. Copy order failure (daily copy trading limit reached)

If the daily copy trading limit has been reached, you will not be able to copy new trades, even if the trader initiates a position.

Copy trading is a powerful tool that allows users to easily replicate the strategies of successful traders. However, copy trading failures are often caused by factors such as trader settings, insufficient funds, or account restrictions. Understanding these causes can help users navigate copy trading more smoothly and minimize potential risks.
