What kind of market conditions are Futures Grid robots more suitable for?

Futures Grid strategy is generally considered to perform better in oscillating and narrowly fluctuating markets.

Can bonus/coupon be used in Futures Grid?

Currently, Futures Grid does not support the use of Gift money.

What currencies does BYDFi support to create a Futures Grid strategy?

BYDFi only supports USDT-M for Futures Grid at the moment

How is the Futures Grid robot charged?

The fee structure of the Futures Grid robot is the same as the rate you pay when you trade in the USDT-M of BYDFi's perpetual contract, with no additional handling fee; including: Transaction fee and funding fee.

Which account is used for trading Futures Grid strategies?

All trading robots will trade directly through the strategy wallet under the perpetual contract account, which is equivalent to another perpetual contract sub-wallet, isolated from other sub-wallet assets; when you set up a Futures Grid strategy, the system will automatically transfer the investment amount from your strategy wallet to the Grid Robot. When the strategy is stopped, the investment amount and profit (if any) will also be transferred back to the strategy sub-purse.

What trading patterns are supported by the BYDFi Futures Grid Strategy?

The BYDFi Futures Grid Strategy supports 3 patterns: Neutral, Long and Short.

How do I get the benefits of my Futures Grid?

While the Futures Grid Robot is in operation, the grid revenue will be retained in the strategy as margin, and when the Futures Grid Strategy is terminated, the funds will be returned from the Contract Strategy to your Strategy Wallet.

Where can I view the transfer records between BYDFi trading strategies and strategy wallets

Click Contract Account - Funds Detail to enter, filter strategy sub-wallet type, you can view the transfer records of grid strategy.

Is there any pricing restriction on the upper and lower price limits of the Futures Grid Robot?

The upper price limit range is from the lowest price × 1.005 to the highest price of 999,999; the lower price limit range is from the market price × 10% to the highest price of 999,999.

Is there a limit on the number of Futures Grids?

Yes, minimum 2 grids/maximum 200 grids.
Please note that the system will adjust the maximum number of grids according to the price range you set. The narrower the price range, the lower the maximum number of grids. This is to ensure that the Futures Grid Robot strategy can generate positive returns (i.e., the grid returns are greater than the commission) under normal market conditions, the specific minimum/maximum number of grids depends on your price range setting, which will be displayed in the Grid Number column.

What are the investment limits for Futures Grid Robots?

The investment limit may vary depending on the maximum price, minimum price and number of grids you set. The specific minimum/maximum investment amount depends on your parameter settings and will be shown in the Investment column.

Can I set the parameters of a running Futures Grid Strategy?

Yes, you can modify the investment amount (USDT) and stop loss/stop loss parameters of a running Futures Grid Strategy. The new strategy parameters will be effective as soon as the parameters have been modified and successfully saved. Please note that the modification of the investment amount, in order to protect your position and minimize the risk of bursting your position, currently only supports the increase of the investment amount, does not support the decrease of the investment amount.

How many Futures Grid Strategies can I run at the same time?

At present, a maximum of 50 Futures Grid Strategies can be executed at the same time.

Why can't I create a Futures Grid strategy?

If you are unable to create a Futures Grid Strategy, it may be due to the following reasons:

  • The balance of USDT in your strategy's sub wallet is not enough to meet the minimum investment amount required for a Futures Grid strategy.
  • The parameters you set are not within the system requirements.

Will I get a higher return with more grids?

No. The prerequisite for grid returns is that the currency price stays within the price range you set. The key to increase your profit lies in how to increase the number of transactions and profit per grid. Under a certain amount of capital, too many grids will reduce the spread of a single grid and the number of transactions of a single grid, which will reduce the profit of a single transaction; therefore, it is very important to reasonably adjust the number of grids in order to increase the profit.

Note:
Futures Grid does not support the downgrade function of perpetual contracts.
Futures Grid trading is a trading tool and should not be considered as financial or investment advice provided by BYDFi. The profitability of Futures Grid trading may be affected by one-sided markets or improperly set price intervals. You can adjust the Futures Grid trading strategy according to the market situation.
