To avoid forced liquidation, BYDFi automatically adds a margin. If you enable automatic margin and the position is triggered to be forced to downshift, the system will add margin from your account for you to avoid forced liquidation.

The automatically added margin equals the initial margin. If your current account balance is less than the initial margin, BYDFi will credit your account with the remaining sum.

Note: If the leverage has reached the minimum, even if the account still has an available balance, the system still cannot automatically add margin for you. The balance of automatic margin call refers only to the balance of the perpetual contract account and cannot be used across BYDFi's other fund accounts (such as spot and affiliate accounts). Users are advised to ensure that the balance of the perpetual account is sufficient.
