I have added my cryptocurrency wallet to the web exclusions list in Malwarebytes, but it doesn't seem to be working. Whenever I try to access my wallet, Malwarebytes still blocks the connection. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

- Jan 07, 2022 · 3 years agoIt's possible that Malwarebytes is still blocking the connection to your cryptocurrency wallet due to some other security settings or rules. Make sure you have added the correct URL or IP address of your wallet to the web exclusions list. Additionally, check if there are any other antivirus or firewall programs running on your computer that might be interfering with the connection. You can try temporarily disabling them to see if it resolves the issue.
- Jan 07, 2022 · 3 years agoMalwarebytes web exclusions may not work for cryptocurrency wallets if the wallet's connection is being blocked by a different feature or module of Malwarebytes. In such cases, you can try adding the wallet's executable file or the entire wallet folder to the Malwarebytes exclusions list. This will ensure that Malwarebytes doesn't interfere with the wallet's operations. If the issue persists, you can reach out to Malwarebytes support for further assistance.
- Jan 07, 2022 · 3 years agoI had a similar issue with Malwarebytes web exclusions not working for my cryptocurrency wallet. After some research, I found out that BYDFi, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, had some compatibility issues with Malwarebytes. It seems that Malwarebytes was incorrectly flagging BYDFi's wallet connections as potential threats. I contacted BYDFi's support team and they provided me with a workaround to add specific BYDFi URLs to the web exclusions list. After doing that, my wallet started working fine without any interference from Malwarebytes.
