The RX480 has shown a hashrate of around 25-30 MH/s for Ethereum mining and 600-700 H/s for Zcash mining. On the other hand, the R9 390 has achieved a hashrate of approximately 25-30 MH/s for Ethereum mining and 550-650 H/s for Zcash mining. These hashrates are in line with the industry standards and are comparable to other graphics cards in the same price range. Both the RX480 and R9 390 are reliable options for mining popular cryptocurrencies.
