I would like to know if Fidelity's DRIP (Dividend Reinvestment Program) allows investors to invest in popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Can I use the DRIP program to automatically reinvest my dividends into these digital assets? Is it possible to set up a DRIP plan specifically for cryptocurrencies on Fidelity's platform?

Does Fidelity's DRIP program support investing in popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum?

Unfortunately, Fidelity's DRIP program does not currently support investing in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The DRIP program is designed for traditional stocks and mutual funds, allowing investors to automatically reinvest their dividends into additional shares of the same security. However, Fidelity does offer other investment options for cryptocurrencies, such as their subsidiary company, Fidelity Digital Assets, which provides custody and trading services for institutional investors.
