Is it possible to use cryptocurrency, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, to pay for iCloud storage using an Apple gift card? I have some cryptocurrency and I'm wondering if I can use it to purchase additional iCloud storage without having to use a credit card or other traditional payment methods. Can anyone provide some insights on this?

- Nov 29, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, at the moment, Apple does not accept cryptocurrency as a payment method for iCloud storage. You can only use credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal to pay for your iCloud storage subscription. Hopefully, in the future, Apple will consider adding cryptocurrency as a payment option.
- Nov 29, 2021 · 3 years agoNo, you cannot use cryptocurrency to pay for iCloud storage with an Apple gift card. Apple gift cards can only be used for purchasing apps, games, music, movies, and other digital content from the App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books. To pay for iCloud storage, you will need to use a traditional payment method like a credit card or PayPal.
- Nov 29, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile Apple does not currently support cryptocurrency payments for iCloud storage, there are third-party services like BYDFi that allow you to convert your cryptocurrency into gift cards, including Apple gift cards. You can then use these gift cards to pay for your iCloud storage subscription. Keep in mind that using third-party services may involve additional fees and may not be as convenient as direct cryptocurrency payments.
