ROPE is a decentralized ecosystem that introduces the popular 'market volatility index' to the crypto market. It consists of two tokens, ROPE and ROPEV. Built on the Solana platform, ROPE aims to enhance the use cases of the Solana network and raise awareness through a decentralized finance (De-Fi) volatility token. On the other hand, ROPEV is a De-Fi-based volatility token that provides a greed/fear index for the De-Fi market. The ROPEV index is determined by the liquidity in major liquidity pools (LPs), which may change over time. To adapt to these changes, a mechanism is required to adjust the ROPEV index LPs. The ROPE token serves as a governance token for voting and governing the ROPEV index. By incorporating a volatility index, ROPEV, from various De-Fi markets, we challenge the market's assumption of future volatility. One approach is to use liquidity pools as a measure of market sentiment. ROPEV is the first comprehensive decentralized initiative to introduce this renowned 'market fear index' to the crypto market.
