Revomon is a unique online role-playing metaverse (RPG) that seamlessly merges the immersive virtual-reality experience with the cutting-edge technology of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Revomon is an online RPG metaverse game with play-to-earn elements. It combines elements from Axie Infinity with Pokémon Go to create a monster-hunting game playable in a virtual reality environment. Players take on the role of a 'Revomon Tamer' that hunts and tames the game's monsters and interacts with virtual reality through real-life gestures. Players can go on quests, compete in PvP and tournament gameplay, and unlock achievements.

Revomon was launched in April 2021 and published its first alpha version in June 2021. The team plans to release a fully-functioning desktop version by the end of the year and develop mobile and VR versions in Q1 2022.

Revomon is created by French co-founders Jordan Ietri and Maxime Reynders. Ietri has over five years of experience as a project manager at the French retailer Auchan, while Reynders is a serial entrepreneur and mobile app developer who previously built DeFi of Thrones. The game's development team consists of ten members.

Revomon was launched on BSCPad, with backing from SideQuest, LVT Capital, and Te-Food.

Revomon is billed as 'the first collectible monster metaverse available in virtual reality.' Its unique value proposition lies in combining GameFi elements with VR gameplay.

Players interact with the game's metaverse using hand gestures, such as throwing balls to catch monsters. The game's menus, including the trainer menu, in-game NFT auctions, and marketplace, are operated with hand motions as well.

Revomon allows players to monetize their playtime and own the assets collected in the game as NFTs. Players can earn by trading their caught Revomon, buying items in the Global Trade Station, and challenging other players in PvP battles. Additionally, Revomon offers DeFi elements, enabling players to earn passive income by providing liquidity to the token's liquidity pool.

REVO serves as an in-game currency that can be bought or earned through quests, competitions, and staking in Revomon liquidity pools. REVO can also be used for voting in the project's governance proposals.

Revomon is built on the Unity engine, the C# scripting API, and the built-in Visual Studio integration. These technologies were chosen for their efficiency on low-power machines, community size, engine age, and developer documentation. This component-based approach allows the team to build with flexibility while delivering impressive graphics and a simple and intuitive user interface.

REVO is a BEP-20 token on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), which is secured through the proof-of-stake consensus mechanism. 21 validators are elected every 24 hours to validate transactions and maintain blockchain security. Validators must stake a certain amount of BNB coins with Binance to be eligible.
