Litecoin Cash (LCC) is a cryptocurrency that is derived from Litecoin Coin. LCC can be obtained through mining, including both SHA256 and Hive Mining systems. Unlike specialized hardware, Hive Mining can be done using a Raspberry Pi or a regular desktop PC. This mining process does not affect existing SHA256 miners and pools. The network accepts proof-of-work blocks at any time, ensuring that SHA256 mining hardware remains active and preventing 51% network attacks. Worker bees in the system do not mint blocks on an attacker's private chain, making it impossible for them to accumulate enough chain work for a 51% hashpower attack. This democratized mining process allows any LCC holder to become a beekeeper.
